Circle of Life Pet Cremation: Traditional/Flame-Based Cremation
Locally owned and operated, Circle of Life Pet Cremation Services are built upon a personal connection with our community and our vet clinics. Dedicated to supporting and celebrating the power of the human-animal connection, we provide a portion of our profit from every cremation to support Paragon Service Dogs. We understand how much our animals give to us while they are here, and it is essential to us that we give back in honor of them. This allows our pets to continue to provide, even after they have gone – Thus the Circle of Life.
Circle of Life is dedicated to providing compassionate care for pets at the end of life and to supporting their humans through this difficult process of transition. We believe in the unique power of the human-animal connection, and we treat every animal we work with exactly how we would want our own beloved companion animals to be treated – with sensitivity, respect, and gentleness.
All cremains are returned in an acacia wooden box and a baked clay paw print. Circle of Life offers many options for urn upgrades and memorial items upon request. Please let us know if you’d like to learn more.
Pet Aftercare & Cremation Options
Journey Home proudly partners with two local, independently owned cremation facilities to meet the specific needs and wishes of individual families.
Should you choose individual cremation, you will receive your pet’s ashes in an Acacia wood urn, along with a certificate of cremation and a personalized clay paw print.
If your pet passes at home before any medical care can be given, your loved one can be gently and lovingly transported directly from your home for cremation.
Pure Waters Pet Cremation: Aquamation/Water Based Cremation
Pure Waters Pet Cremation is a locally owned business providing compassionate pet aftercare through Aquamation, a gentle water-based alternative to traditional flame cremation. Serving Boulder and surrounding communities, we help families honor their beloved companions with dignity, respect, and care.
By offering Aquamation, we give families an environmentally conscious option that is gentle on both their pet and the planet. Every pet entrusted to our care is treated with the same compassion and respect we would give our own.
Aquamation, also known as alkaline hydrolysis, is the same process that occurs in nature over several years, only accelerated to less than 24 hours. Alkalinity, temperature, and the gentle flow of water speed up the breakdown of organic material. It has the lowest impact on the environment compared to all other methods of disposition.
At Pure Waters Pet Cremation, our mission is simple: to provide a gentle goodbye and help families preserve the love and memories they will carry forever.
**Please note that there is an additional fee for aquamation due to differences in service pricing by the individual companies
